Professional Editor, Shannon Kaechler, graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in English Literature and minor in Modern European History. She spent 2 years teaching Logic and Composition/Literature at a small private school in Fort Worth, and then in 2011, took a break from teaching to work for NY Times bestselling author, Geralyn Dawson, as a writing assistant and editor. When her husband deployed to Afghanistan, she decided to return to teaching at West Dallas Community School, where she taught 6th grade Humanities. In 2013, she and her husband received orders to move to Iwakuni, Japan, where her son was born shortly after. She now lives in Wiesbaden, Germany, where she loves traveling throughout Europe, eating as much foreign food as possible, and, hopefully, learning a few new languages while she’s there.
